Morning guys,

Well I’ve recently finished my University Course, three years doing Business Management. Its been absolutely amazing! But for all those people who haven’t been to university yet, or planning on going this September, let me just tell you a few things they dont put in the brochure…

1) MESS

The people you live with are going to messy, VERY VERY MESSY! Lets be honest here, we are not all perfect, and when you initially move in with your flat mates you are all best friends, but by the end you are fighting about who left a spoon on the side! ( SERIOUS STUFF )

2) THE BIN

Everyone will argue about taking the bin out. The bin was by biggest problem, if it wasn’t that people weren’t willing to take it out, they would argue that the rubbish wasn’t theirs. I’ve heard every excuse in the book. PEOPLE ITS RUBBISH NOT TOXIC WASTE.

3) LOST OBJECTS

Things will go missing… Now I’m not meaning your wallet, relax! but you will go to cook up some pasta in your favourite saucepan three days in a row, only to discover its gone missing… You don’t know where its gone and but by this point you don’t care, the blaming game starts! If you started the year with 5 bowls 6 plates and a full set of cutlery, cut that in half… BUY CHEAP.

4) LIBARY

The library will become your best friend! Days on end will be spent searching through books that make no sense, while trying to reference authors who were clearly on something when writing them.

5) THE PEOPLE

You are going to meet some really weird people… There is no other way to put that! Now I know I’m not the most normal apple under the tree, but you start to notice things when living people… The way they eat, their company or just the way they act in general.

6) THE HATRID

You are going to hate someone… It could be anyone, just the guy that gives you weird looks when you walk past them, a bad experience with a someone. Your flat mate or one of your lecturers! Be warned a hatred will begin…

7) THE HUMAN RULES

Whatever rules your mum told you about, out of date foods, laundry rules and ironing go straight out the window! You make your own rules! You are in charge now, for better or for worse!

8) LISTENING

You will regret not listening to your parents while they were trying to teach you how to cook some meals. Pasta became a favourite of mine.. and chicken!

9) EMBARRASSING MOMENTS

You are going to have some embarrasing moments! It could be anything… Just be warned they will happen!

10) THE BEST YEAR EVER

You will have the best time of your life, the whole university experience was amazing and I met so many lovely people that will be friends for life! Its something I recommend everyone to do and experience!

And for all the people that are going in September, don’t be nervous, its the best year of your life! You will meet so many amazing people, you never know, you might meet the love of your life! 😉

Be excited its a brand new chapter of your lives!
