When attending the UK blog awards, there are some tips you should follow!

You are about to visit one of the coolest blog events in the UK, make sure you read my tips if you are feeling nervous, and I hope you have a great evening.

Don’t be nervous to mingle

At this event, there are hundreds and hundreds of bloggers you haven’t met, but this is the perfect opportunity to meet new ones. Don’t be afraid to go up to random strangers and talk to them; you’d be surprised how many people are in the same boat as you.

Don’t drink too much

As we saw from the UK17 awards, there was one individual who had clearly drank too much, walked onto the stage holding a bottle of champagne, swore at the crowd and them stumbled off the stage, you are making a first impression to a lot of people, brands and companies, so watch your drink and keep your cool.

Prepare to win or lose

If you are up for an award, just remember you have a chance of winning or losing and you don’t know if you are going to be that lucky person. So if you do lose don’t worry! Just remember you are one of the lucky ones to make it to the finals, you have already been recognised as a brilliant blogger, and there is always next year!

Relax and have a good time

Of course, the most important tip, relax and have fun. You are attending a wonderful event, with brilliant and like-minded bloggers, have a great time and enjoy your night.
