Late last year, a two-storey taproom in New York named – rather alternatively – The Dead Rabbit. In the past, they have developed some fantastic alternative drinks that have taken the market by storm.
Now, for one week only, the world’s best Irish coffee is coming to the UK, to be served exclusively at the Bloomsbury Club Bar between the 10 and 16 April.
There are so many Irish coffee recipes! But we have to say this will take your taste buds to a whole new level.
Irish coffee mix is the basic filter coffee used to make an Irish coffee. To make enough for several servings, mix 48 oz of good quality filter coffee with 10 oz of rich Demerara Sugar Syrup (2 parts sugar to 1 part water).
Pour into an absinthe glass and swirl through whipped cream to taste. Finally, garnish with a liberal grating of nutmeg. (However, the last of that recipe can be changed slightly depending on your taste buds, also adding can be used if you want to put an edge on it.)
