Blood Cancer, It’s something we need to talk about.

Yesterday I was emailed by a company to address the issue about Blood Cancer. Now blood cancer has been around for ages, so why am I addressing it? Well the issue is, that not enough men are signing up to get themselves checked and become donors to help other men out. Women are incredibly good at getting themselves checked for issues like this, but us men have a problem of leaving it… until its too late.

Now we see the issues about cancer on the television, radio and even social media 24/7, its a real problem now. But what you don’t hear is the issues behind it, who has actually had it. But even further who’s been affected by it. Who’s lost a loved one to it. Now I’m going to be honest. Men can be bad at this sort of thing, even myself. I had no knowledge of Blood Cancer and how bad it really is until this company addressed it to me.

So let me lay a few facts down “Someone is diagnosed with blood cancer every 20 minutes and for many of these, a stem cell transplant from a donor on the Anthony Nolan register is their last chance of a life” The problem is not enough men are signing up to this, so all I’m asking you to do is take the time out of your busy schedules, head over to their website and sign up.

It’s time we stand up to cancer, it’s been around to long, its taken to many lives and caused to much heartache. Save someones life, they need your help and I’m asking for it too. click on their website www.anthonynolan.org/marchofthemen and help save lives, not tomorrow, not this afternoon, but now.
