Committing Crime, the real question is, would you do it knowing you would get away with it?
Committing Crime, would you do it? There was a study written back in the 50’s where they would analyse a series of test groups, each asking them to anonymously vote if they would commit a crime, if they knew they would get away with it. While two of the test groups were allowed to anonymously vote if they would or not, the third group had to go public with their results. What followed was very interesting…
The two groups that had to answer anonymously said that 80% of them said they would if they were guaranteed that they would 100% get away with it, while 20% said they wouldn’t due to the guilt… Now the third group results were a little different. With 40% saying they would if they were guaranteed 100% if they would get away with it, while 60% said they wouldn’t… Due to guilt/ family/ and a series of other contributes that would damage them later on.
Now, this was 60 years ago… Let’s see if the generation of today is different… I want you to VOTE, would you would commit the crime below if you knew 100% you would get away with it.
The scenario: Robbing safe deposit boxes of a bank, worth 100 million pounds… Would you do it? VOTE HERE:
Now the scenario changes, same situation 100 million pounds in safe deposit boxes, but there’s only a 95% chance of pulling it off, would you still do it? But if you don’t its life in prison, without parole… Still consider it? VOTE HERE:
