Driverless Cars News:
Well we have heard a lot about driverless cars in the recent news, from people petitioning to people wanting to know where to buy them, but with their being a lot of ‘gossip’ who’s actually telling the truth?
Well it’s been announced in the last month that we are going to see driverless cars all over the roads this July. These driverless pods that practically look like something out of Star Trek, are going to hit the roads in London first.
Now these are going to be first launched at Heathrow airport, these will be placed on the tracks, to basically allow people to get from A-B then later on these autonomous vehicles will then hit places like the 02 Area, to basically help people going to the area to hopefully reduce traffic flow around the area.
Then once these have been tested and people are happy with the results, then it will be launched in certain parts of the UK. This will include; Greenwich is one of four areas in the UK where driverless vehicles are due to be trialled. Bristol, Coventry and Milton Keynes will also carry out trials later this year.
Now these autonomous vehicles are being tested by every leading tech company from google to Telsa, all racing against to the clock to produce the best self driving vehicle. But are these driverless cars going to be a good thing? Or are we going to see on the headlines of ‘Driverless cars news’ – Another crash? Or are we going to see ‘Another great milestone for driverless cars?
We are going to just have to wait and see, but either way I’m excited to see what happens in the future. But, what do you think? Are you excited for them or scared by them? Comment below or tweet me @mrjamesvincent
