Well, with the seasons changing, the Flu season is coming and colds are coming in full force! I can already feel my cold coming. So I’m trying out a new remedy loading my body with different fruits to get me healthy again.

Now of course you should be taking some sort of medication to boost your immune system. But when you are taking medication you should be eating foods that keep your energy levels up and your immunity. So here are some great fruits that can help you out.

Bananas: 

This fruit is so good for your immune system, bananas help reduce fatigue, stress, and insomnia, depression. Bananas are high in magnesium. This fruit is great for instant energy, when you are have a cold your energy levels drop, so having a banana keeps your energy up to healthy levels.

Apples:

Being the most popular fruit, as well as the fruit with the highest antioxidants. Boosted with a serious amount of Vitamin C which will boost that immune system of yours and get you healthier at a quicker rate.

Grapefruit:

Loaded with vitamin C, grapefruit also contains natural compounds called limonoids, which can lower cholesterol, so this great little fruit gets you on the right track to being healthier. In addition to this because it has natural compounds within it is to good for your body.

Papayas: 

Now being honest, papayas aren’t my favourite fruit, but this fruit packs a punch. The beta-carotene and vitamins C and E in papayas reduce inflammation throughout the body. Definitely packed with vitamins to get rid of the cold in no time.

Cranberries:

Cranberries have more antioxidants than other common fruits and veggies. They are so great for your insides, providing your body with so many antioxidants, that will definitely make you better in no time. They provide your body with good bacterias!
