What’s your life purpose? A vague question with a interesting outcome.
What’s your life purpose? When you are younger, you have the idea of doing all these different jobs. One day you want to be a doctor, the next an architect and the day after that a painter. Then you get a little older and you become a bit lost… That’s natural don’t worry! Let me explain to you what I went through just to shed a little light on the matter.
I remember the day I walked out of A-Levels, sat on the bicycle bench right outside and thought to myself.. I have no idea what I want to do… Now that isn’t because I was un prepared, not because I was lazy, but because I was human. Not having a clear idea of what you want to do right after A-Levels is human…
Seriously, how are you meant to grow up so fast and be ready for university and life… Just five minutes ago you were asking if you could go to the toilet… When deciding on what you want to do in life, take your time. Way up your pros and cons, your strengths and weaknesses.
I see so many people go into university, jobs and career paths without actually knowing what they want to do… Then five years later you come back to your thoughts to realise you’re deep into a job, the gap for a change has gone. So work on what you want to do at a younger age, when its easier to take those risks.
So not having a life purpose is crap, it just takes time to find it. But you will, don’t worry!
