Watches & Whiskey, What Takes Your Fancy
Let’s talk about some of my favourite things, whiskey & watches. Now, of course, there is a time and a place for both, but for some reason I love them. Anyone that knows me or follows the blog has a good idea of how many watches I own and what I like to drink. But, I’m here today to share some of the latest ones that are on my scene at the moment.
The finely fitted gold case of the Westminster houses an ultra-thin movement, the complexity of this specific timepiece is matched only by the timeless elegance of the watch. This expresses a subtle blend of finesse and precision with a bold sense of sophistication
Once I had agreed on the watch It was only a matter of time before the watch had arrived at my door. My initial thought, the first thing that passed through my mind as I saw it was “Silver sophistication marrying art” Now I know that doesn’t make sense but it was the first time I was absolutely blown away by the watch. The feel, touch and style of the watch looked so amazing.
Monkey Shoulder Blended Malt Scotch:
Monkey Shoulder is a mix of three different Single Malts – Glenfiddich, Balvenie and Kininvie – and is great with mixers or just on its own. Smooth, sweet and very easy to drink, just what you need to relax in a perfect location.
Bushmills Black Bush Whiskey:
A rich, dark, Irish blend, Black Bush contains a high proportion of triple-distilled single malt, aged in Oloroso sherry casks for around 8-10 years before marriage with the grain. A smooth taste at an incredible price just what you need to add to your collection.
WhistlePig Straight Rye:
A hard-to-find, award-winning 100% rye whisk(e)y created by Maker’s Mark’s former master distiller, Dave Pickerell. Distilled and initially aged in Canada, before years of further ageing at WhistlePig farm in Vermont. A great drink that definitely packs a punch.
